Get a Good Job Now - CLS Weekend Edition: Sept-Nov 2008

How to Get a Good Job Now – Avadon Group Offers Final 2008 Weekend Series for Career-Seekers.

.

Aug. 28th, 2008; Raleigh, North Carolina; The Avadon Group, an agency dedicated to preparing workers for meaningful careers, has teamed up with Wake Tech to offer its final weekend series of 2008 for job seekers. The series, known as The Avadon Group Career Latticing Series (CLS), is being offered from Sept. 6 to Nov. 22, 2008.

According to Avadon founder and CEO, Norma Owen, the courses will provide participants knowledge of the: top 10 skills employers view as critical for employees; essential job profiles that demonstrate a participant is the right person for a job; and key upcoming trends in the employment market of tomorrow.

Owen also notes the term Career Latticing refers to the agility and maneuverability job-seekers need in order to find meaningful and satisfying careers in today's ever-changing marketplace. "In the past, workers were able to climb the career ladder," said Owen. "Now, however, they have to change directions and move in different places to build a successful career. The Avadon Group Instructors provide the skills job-seekers need to succeed."

Although the courses are sequential, they can be taken out of order to accommodate individuals' schedules. Each section is 12 hours in length divided into two Saturday sessions from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. To receive certification for each section, participants must participate in both sessions. For more information, please see the 2008 Weekend Schedule in the Courses section of www.AvadonGroup.com or please contact Pat Taylor at Wake Tech, via email at pstaylor@waketech.edu, or by phone at (919) 747-0206.
